Big congrats are owed to Teru for winning a $200,000 grant from the Knight Fellowship. He'll be using social media to bring the story of the war in Afghanistan to the American people in a way that TV brought Vietnam to our living rooms. The Marines recently lifted a ban on social media, so the Marines, along with the independent embedded journalists will be using social media to report on what is happening.
